Your data, plainly.
This policy explains what data Node collects, why, where it goes, and how you can delete it. Node is published by Axiom Technologies LTD ("Axiom", "we", "us").

01Who we are
Node is a route-optimization app for drivers. It is operated by Axiom Technologies LTD. For any privacy-related question you can reach us at abdulmalik@axiom.ng.
02What we collect and why
We only collect the data we need to run the app. There are four buckets:
- Account data. Your email address (required). If you sign in with Google, we receive a Google account identifier and your display name. Optional: first name and last name.
- Your “home base”. If you set one, we store the place name, address, and latitude/longitude. This is used as the end point when Node optimizes your routes.
- Route data. The routes you create — a name and the list of stops, each with its place name, address, coordinates, completion status, and timestamps. We use this to show, optimize, and sync your routes across sessions.
- Feedback you send us.When you use “Share feedback” inside the app, we store the category (feedback, bug, idea), your message, and your user ID so we can get back to you.
03Location data
Node asks for your device location and uses it in two places:
- As the starting point when you create or re-optimize a route.
- To bias address search so that results near you appear first.
Your current location is sent to our server so we can run optimization and place search, and then passed to Google (see section 5). We do not store your current location in our database, and we do not continuously track you in the background. The coordinates we do store are only the ones attached to routes and stops you explicitly added.
04Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example, how many routes get created, how often re-optimization is triggered, or which screens users open. The events we send carry counts and category names only. We do not attach your email, name, or any free-text content to analytics events.
05Third parties that process your data
To run Node we rely on a small number of processors. Your data is shared with them only to the extent needed for the service:
- Google / Firebase — for authentication, user database, cloud functions, and analytics (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Firebase Analytics). Our Firebase project is hosted on Google Cloud.
- Google Maps Platform — when you search an address, we call the Google Places autocomplete API. When you optimize a route, we call the Google Route Optimization API. In both cases we send the relevant coordinates and query; we do not send your email or account ID.
- Apple— App Store review prompts are displayed through Apple's in-app review system. Apple processes these prompts independently under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
06Permissions we ask for
On iOS, the app asks you for permission the first time a feature needs it. Today, the only permission Node actively uses is Location (While Using the App), for the purposes described in section 3. If we add features that need additional permissions (for example notifications), the system will prompt you for them explicitly at that point.
07Where your data is stored
Your account and routes are stored in Google Cloud Firestore under a project controlled by Axiom Technologies LTD. Data may be processed in the Google Cloud regions Firebase uses for our project. We keep your data for as long as your account exists.
08Your rights — and how to exercise them
You can:
- See your data— everything we have is visible inside the app (profile, routes, feedback you've sent).
- Correct your data — edit your profile, home base, and routes directly in the app.
- Delete your account and data — Profile tab → Delete account. This permanently removes your user record and all saved routes. If you run into a problem, email us.
- Ask a question or file a complaint — write to abdulmalik@axiom.ngand we'll respond.
09Children
Node is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change to how we handle your data, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above, and where appropriate notify you inside the app or by email.
